THE WORKING VIEW

Why this table knive earns its place

The Diaz range sets a clear mark: slender lines, modern proportion, and genuine formality without fussiness. At 176mm and 6mm gauge, this is a knife that works for tea and dessert alike—light in hand, well-balanced, and built to last.

18/10 stainless steel is the catering standard: it resists staining and corrosion, takes a proper edge, and polishes to shine without special treatment. A dozen in a pack means you can outfit a full table service without hunting for strays.

The design reads well from across the room. Your customers notice elegant tableware; they don't consciously know why. The Diaz achieves that balance between formality and approachability that works for fine dining, contemporary brasseries, and upmarket casual alike. A knife that earns its place on a proper table.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions, answered straight

Yes. 18/10 stainless steel is fully dishwasher-safe. They'll come out clean without spotting if you use a rinse aid. Dry promptly if you want to minimize water marks.

18/10 means 18% chromium and 10% nickel. That nickel is what stops rust and staining. Cheaper steel (like 18/0) skips the nickel and will pit and discolor over time. The extra cost upfront saves replacement costs.

They're sized and weighted for tea, dessert, or light courses. For full service, pair them with larger knives from the Diaz range if you need a progression. On their own, they're smart for contemporary menus that don't follow strict course cutlery rules.

At 2.7 kg per dozen, that's about 225g each. Heavy enough to feel substantial without being unwieldy. Guests immediately feel the difference between this and thin stamped cutlery.

The Diaz has been in production for years; this is proven catering ware. Expect 5+ years of daily service before any visible wear. The stainless steel doesn't dull, chip, or rust under normal commercial use.
