Why this wine glasse earns its place
This is where Schott Zwiesel's sommelier credentials show. The Vina Crystal stemless wine glass is used by Concours Mondial, the SFC Wine Competition, and the German Wine Institute for actual wine tasting. That tells you the bowl shape and crystal clarity are serious engineering, not just aesthetics.
The 556ml capacity is generous for wine — room for a full pour (around 175ml) and plenty of space to move the wine around and see what's happening in the glass. Stemless design means no stem to snap off in a commercial dishwasher, and a wider base that's harder to knock over. The crystal clarity is critical: wine colour, sediment, sparkle, the wine's age and character all need to be visible.
These are built for fine dining, upmarket banqueting, and catering hire — settings where the glassware matters as much as the wine inside. A sommelier can read the wine better in this glass. A guest knows the effort went into the detail.
