Why this wine glasse earns its place
These are the largest glasses in the Evidence range at 450ml — the format for venues that pour generous portions of red wine or want to serve a larger volume without needing to top up mid-meal. At 209mm tall with an 84mm diameter, they're a presence on the table: tall enough to look intentional, wide enough that a proper red can open and breathe a little even in a service glass.
The engineering is the same as the rest of the Evidence line: short stem to reduce breakage during service, angular bowl that stacks efficiently for storage, laser-cut and flame-polished finish for that professional clarity. Lead-free crystal gives you the optical quality without historical or health baggage. The 209mm height is tall enough to make a statement for premium reds or special-occasion service, but not so unwieldy that bar staff will dread pulling them every service.
The 450ml capacity also works for venues that do smaller pours of expensive wine — a half glass of a high-end red in a proper stem glass feels more appropriate than a rocks glass or a plastic couette. That's the audience for the bigger Evidence glasses: restaurants with wine programmes, wine bars doing reserves, hotels handling premium dining.
