Why this plate earns its place
The deep blue glaze and hand-applied rim work together to give the plate character without looking fragile. In settings where colour matters — seaside restaurants, Mediterranean menus, or venues with a strong visual identity — the blue reads as intentional branding rather than novelty crockery. It works equally well as a neutral background for bright plating or as visual weight in minimalist service.
Stacking is secure. At 21 mm height the coupe shape means rims nest without locking, so you can slide a plate out from a 50-plate stack without disturbing the rest. The porcelain is dishwasher-proof and fired hard enough to take repeated commercial cycles without crazing or surface wear. Blue glaze is applied during production and bonded in the kiln, so it won't fade or chip away with age.
180 mm makes it work as a side plate in multi-course service or as a feature plate in a smaller setting. The blue stands up to bold flavours and presentation styles; it complements rather than competes with food.
