Why this plate earns its place
The 180 mm plate is the bread-and-butter workhorse in any structured service. Bread basket, side salad, or a pre-plated amuse all fit without crowding, and the size is predictable enough that plating rhythm never breaks. Porcelain of this weight—roughly 0.4 kg per plate—handles the repeated plate rotation without fatigue, and the ice blue glaze reads simply without demanding attention.
A 6-pack (2.46 kg gross) means you can run three or four side plates through a clearing cycle without waiting between turns, which keeps the pace. The flat rim resists binding, so a server can grab and stack quickly when the cover turns or a course completes.
Dishwashing is straightforward: standard commercial cycles at 65 °C don't stress the glaze or base. No special handling needed between service and the machine.
