Why this plate earns its place
Side plates sit at the first course and between courses—bread, butter, appetiser. At 165 mm, this is a working plate, not a charger or presentation board. The size is proven across hospitality settings: it fits a standard table setting without crowding, and it stacks efficiently on a plate rail.
The Homespun pattern is from Churchill's archive and prints under the glaze during manufacture, so it becomes part of the porcelain surface—it won't fade or rub away. The hand-applied band around each rim is fired on, giving the plate a finished detail that works across table settings. Porcelain itself is non-porous, holds up to repeated high-temperature dishwashing, and chips less than earthenware.
Twelve to a pack. They stack compact, move through a passthrough wash, and come with a 5-year edge chip warranty. This is reliable ware for high-turnover service where consistency matters.
