Why this plate earns its place
These 280mm Gembrook dinner plates give a main course plenty of room, with a white finish that lets the food lead while the reactive glaze adds a more individual look. Steelite developed the range with Off Grid Studio, using a fully vitrified clay body so each piece has the solid stoneware construction specified for the range.
Because the glaze is reactive, every plate is different from the rest. That variation brings an authentic feel to the dining room, and the manufacturer says it also provides extra protection against staining. The round plates are stackable, helping keep a larger dinner-plate format manageable in storage.
The 12-pack gives a venue a practical starting quantity for table service, while dishwasher-safe handling supports an efficient clear-and-reset routine. It is a good choice for restaurants, hotels, cafés and caterers that want white dinnerware with more visual personality than a standard uniform finish.
