Why this plate earns its place
The 300mm diameter sits the main course centre-stage — large enough for generous plating without dominating a five-course table. Royal Bone China's density gives the plate weight and presence that registers on a diner's hand; the glazed finish resists the random chips that plague cheaper earthenware after six months in a busy kitchen.
Bone china's real advantage in commercial service is heat retention. A 300mm plate fresh from the dishwasher holds its temperature through a full service; the glaze doesn't craze or yellow where hot food sits. That stability matters when the plate travels — sauces stay where you put them, and the presentation holds from pass to table.
All six pack into standard racks. Dishwasher cycles at 65 °C and the freezer are both fine. A white glaze on bone china won't chip as readily as porcelain would; the density matters.
