Why this plate earns its place
A 270 mm dinner plate needs to work across plated appetisers, main courses, and the turnover between services. This one does that in porcelain that's durable enough for daily dishwasher cycles yet won't chip at the rim when it's stacked into a tray with dozens of others. The aqua colour is soft enough to sit well with any cuisine presentation — it reads as upmarket without being loud — while the rolled edges help it survive heavy commercial use.
Porcelain is the default finish in high-turnover venues because it performs on both fronts: it cleans easily in a passthrough wash, and its vitrified surface resists the wear that catches unglazed finishes. Olympia use a vitrified hotelware-standard porcelain, which is built to withstand the thermal shock of going from a cold dish pit directly onto a warm plate rail.
The aqua fondant range is designed around this colour working in both front-of-house and everyday kitchen settings, so you get consistency between your plated presentation and your stock. Packs of four make these a natural fit for smaller establishments or for rotating new stock in alongside existing plates.
