Why this plate earns its place
A 260 mm plate is the workhorse of modern plating. It holds a two-component main without crowding — room for protein and veg without the food colliding or overcooking through proximity. The coupe shape keeps sauces contained and reads cleanly on a square table setting.
Super-vitrified ceramic is fired denser than standard glazed plate. The result is a surface that resists staining, doesn't absorb microfat from the pass, and survives high-temperature dishwashing without crazing or white stress marks. The rim, where plate meets cutlery, is less likely to chip than softer ceramics.
The underglaze radial design — applied before final firing — frames the plating without fighting it. The black ground holds food in contrast and works across most cuisine styles. Stackable to 10 mm each, so fifty plates occupy reasonable shelf height. Dishwasher-safe through the hottest commercial cycles.
