Why this plate earns its place
At 27 cm, this coupe works where a 24 cm falls short. A single diner's plate for a large mains portion; a sharing starter for two; a dessert board; a platter for family-style service. The flat surface gives plenty of room for plating height and presentation without increasing the footprint — the curved rim keeps food secure as the plate moves through service.
Vitrified porcelain is fired at high temperature to become glass-hard and non-porous, which is why commercial kitchens favour it: it handles dishwashers at 65°C, repeated thermal shock, and years of daily use. The earthy beige finish is built into the porcelain, not a surface glaze. Stacks securely for front-of-house storage or transport.
