TEFCOLD Launches More Than 30 New Ice-Cream Freezers for 2026
TEFCOLD has launched more than 30 ice-cream freezers for 2026. Craven Cooling examines the new chest, mobile, upright and scoop-display options.

TEFCOLD has not added one token freezer for the summer season. It has launched more than 30 new models across chest, upright, mobile and scoop-display formats.
That breadth matters because “ice-cream freezer” can describe several completely different jobs. A convenience store needs packaged products visible through a sliding lid. A gelateria needs Napoli pans presented at serving height. An events business may need refrigeration that can leave the building altogether.
Three new chest-freezer families
The new FOCUS, IDB and IDC ranges expand TEFCOLD’s glass-lid chest-freezer selection, while the established IDA+ family gains an additional chest format. The FOCUS range comes in five sizes and uses frameless curved sliding lids designed to improve the seal while keeping products visible.
For retailers, the buying decision is not simply which cabinet holds the most. Compare usable display area, basket arrangement, lid access, footprint and the distance a customer has to reach.
MOBILUX takes frozen sales off-grid
The most unusual introduction is MOBILUX: a 12V freezer/cooler offered in two sizes, with a stated battery operating period of approximately eight to thirteen hours depending on conditions.
TEFCOLD positions it for mounting on a trolley, cart or tricycle. That creates possibilities for festivals, sports grounds, visitor attractions, hotel terraces and mobile vending—but it also creates new planning questions. Payload, charging, ambient temperature, secure mounting and the route back to a power supply all matter.
Upright freezers where width is tight
The FSF176VH B is only 435mm wide, with an illuminated canopy, adjustable shelves, heated glass and ventilated cooling. The new UDB tabletop family offers three colour options in a compact glass-door format.
These are merchandising products. Measure their value in visible facings and useful selling positions, not gross litres alone.
New scoop-display choices
TEFCOLD has also added Isetta ST and LX displays, the dual-zone Delta New, four NIC-SC-SO sizes and three additional IDA+ sizes. The Delta New is particularly interesting for businesses that need two controlled temperature zones in one display.
Craven’s verdict
This is a genuine range launch with enough variety to solve different businesses rather than forcing every operator into the same chest freezer. The danger is buying the most attractive cabinet before planning the service model.
Craven Cooling can help compare the new models, confirm UK availability and current specifications, and plan ventilation, access and electrical requirements before the first tub arrives.
The stunt — The Melt-Proof Route: Draw the complete journey of one ice cream—from delivery vehicle to storage, display, serving and waste. Mark every door, step, power connection and period outside controlled refrigeration. Choose the freezer only after the weak point becomes obvious.
