Why this knee operated sink earns its place
The Basix CC260 is built for the places where hand-washing has to happen without staff touching a tap handle. Its knee-operated push-front format improves hygiene and reduces cross-contamination risk, making it a practical fit for prep rooms, back-of-house corridors and production areas where staff move between tasks quickly.
The basin is stainless steel with a silver finish and measures 195 x 300 x 320mm overall. It arrives fully assembled, with the drain boss, premixer valve and spout included, so the core wash station is specified as a complete unit rather than a loose collection of parts.
The manufacturer also calls out reduced water wastage as a benefit of the hands-free push-front design. Splashback CC261 is sold separately, so include it in the order if the planned position needs wall protection behind the basin. Warranty cover is listed as 1 year parts only.
