Why this undercounter dishwasher earns its place
The Winterhalter UC-L-E Energy DE645 is a large undercounter dishwasher with a 500 x 500mm square basket and 405mm entry height. Winterhalter describes it as capable of washing oversized items, so it sits above a small glasswasher or compact dishwasher when the wash-up has to handle larger service pieces.
The Energy part matters in day-to-day use. The manufacturer description states that the integral steam heat recovery system is there to reduce running costs and improve the working environment, reclaiming heat that would otherwise make the wash-up area hotter and more uncomfortable.
