Why this commercial dishwasher earns its place
The DC PD50A D is the standard PD50 with a crucial addition: an integral drain pump and break tank. This matters if your dishwash zone doesn't have gravity fall to the waste line, or if the distance to waste is awkward. Instead of raising the dishwasher on a plinth or running an expensive low-point drain stub, the integral pump lifts wastewater and delivers it uphill or across the kitchen to the waste line.
The pump and break tank are built in and automated — they run after every cycle without thought. You get the same reliable 500×500 mm frontloading performance as the standard PD50: touchscreen controls, four fixed cycles plus adjustable My Wash, superior chemical dosing. Real-time temperature readouts and cycle logging keep your compliance records clean. Double-skinned insulation keeps heat in and noise down. Heavy-duty wash pump and hydro-dynamic basket runners handle high throughput through a full service.
The break tank itself is a water-pressure buffer that protects the whole wash circuit from surges and spike damage. Combined with the drain pump, it means you can plumb the dishwasher almost anywhere in the kitchen — tight corners, raised benches, even slightly elevated from waste, and it'll still drain reliably. Perfect for kitchen retrofits where plumbing flexibility was never in the original design.
