Why this broom head earns its place
The SYR Hygiene Broom Head L868 is a red Scot Young broom head with a 304.8mm sweeping width. Its soft bristles are suited to routine sweeping of light debris where a softer contact is preferable to a stiffer scrub or scrape.
It's part of a four-colour hygiene broom head range, giving commercial kitchens, cleaning teams and production areas a simple way to keep broom heads assigned to separate zones. The red colour code is clear at a glance, helping staff return the right cleaning tool to the right area after use.
The manufacturer description confirms the soft-bristle hygiene head is available in four colours to help prevent cross contamination. Use the colour against your own documented cleaning schedule rather than assuming a universal colour meaning.
