Why this floor cleaner earns its place
This Jantex Green floor maintainer is built to repair and re-coat flooring rather than simply clean it, leaving a protective, non-slip finish behind as it works. That maintenance role sits a step beyond routine mopping — it's restoring the floor's surface finish over time, not just lifting dirt.
It's specifically suited to floors previously coated with a metallised floor polish, effectively refreshing that coating rather than stripping it back, and it's also effective at removing scuff marks that build up under regular foot traffic. Like the rest of the Green range it's plant-based, biodegradable, non-toxic, non-flammable and non-carcinogenic, complying with EC Detergent Regulation 648/2004 and REACH 1907/2006.
It's used at a 1:10 dilution for both damp mopping and spray buffing, giving a consistent ratio whichever application method the maintenance routine uses. It carries an irritant classification, so standard gloves apply during use and dilution.

SDS
Read the label and the manufacturer’s safety data sheet — the pictograms tell you what you are holding.

Who could be harmed, and how badly? Judge likelihood against severity before anyone opens the cap.

Eliminate or substitute first, engineer and organise next — PPE is the last line, never the first.

Keep the controls working: check ventilation, dosing equipment and storage stay as they should be.

Everyone who uses it knows the hazards, the correct dilution and the PPE — before the first shift, not after.

Products and processes change. Reassess when they do, and keep the record that proves it.
