Why this ice cube machine earns its place
The TEFCOLD TC85 is the biggest of these TC ice makers, built for bars, pubs, restaurants and hospitality sites where cubed ice has to be available all day rather than rationed through service. It produces individual clear cubes of approximately 31 x 35 x 31 mm, using TEFCOLD's spray system to form slow-melting ice for drinks and general service use.
This is a self-contained ice machine with storage, so production and the insulated bin sit in one unit. The TC85 is rated by the manufacturer at 85 kg of ice per 24 hours, with 40 kg of storage ready behind the front door. That balance matters in a working venue: the machine can recover through the day, while the bin gives staff a proper reserve for the busy window.
The build is reassuringly commercial. TEFCOLD specifies a high quality catering grade 304 stainless steel exterior, a verified SS304 finish, and Ag+ easy-clean surfaces in the storage bin to help resist bacteria and odours. The scoop is included, the air filter is removable for cleaning, and the front access makes the ice bin quick to reach during service.
