Why this ice machine earns its place
The Manitowoc NEO 80 is an undercounter ice machine for smaller sites that need reliable ice within easy reach. It combines the ice maker and bin in one unit, so it can sit under a counter or work as a standalone point where bar, café or service staff can get to the ice quickly.
The manufacturer lists daily output for regular service with built-in storage for an internal reserve. That balance makes sense for small-volume ice demand, without giving up the amount of space a larger modular head and bin would need.
Manitowoc has built the NEO range around ownership as much as output. The FU856 has front air intake and exhaust, a flat right-angle plug for tight installation spaces, an easy-access air filter for greasy or dusty environments and a door that slides up and out of the way. AlphaSan is used in key internal components to extend time between cleanings, alongside patented cleaning and sanitizing technology.
