Why this ice cube machine earns its place
Same machine as the DCQ30-10A in every way that matters for ice: 30 kg of Qube cubes per 24 hours, 10 kg of on-board storage, front-breathing air-cooled condenser, single-phase 230 V plug-top, and the same dense, slow-melting, individually formed cubes that bartenders prefer. The only difference is the factory-fitted peristaltic drain pump.
That pump lifts condensate and melt-water up to 1.5 m vertically or 5 m horizontally to a standpipe, sink waste, or gully. It runs only during the harvest/drain phase of each cycle — a few seconds every 15–20 minutes — drawing ~15 W peak and near-silent in a working bar. For basement bars, island units, pop-up sites, or any location where the floor waste sits above the machine's outlet, this is the variant that fits.
Footprint and service access are identical to the gravity-drain model: ~500 mm wide, front service panel, evaporator/pump/board all slide out, controls at eye level. Cleaning cadence unchanged — bin weekly, descale 3–6 monthly, annual pro service. The pump tube is a standard peristaltic spare; Craven Cooling stocks it and swaps take ~15 minutes with the fascia off.
