Why this crushed & flake ice machine earns its place
Granular ice is the format that does the job: soft enough to chew safely, mouldable enough to wrap a fish fillet or pack a cocktail tin, fast-dispensing from a soda gun. The DCG150-40A delivers it from a footprint barely wider than an undercounter glasswasher.
This is a self-contained machine — the ice maker and the 40kg storage bin share one cabinet. No separate bin to site, no bin-to-head plumbing, no second drain. One 13A / 230V plug, one ¾" BSP mains water connection, one gravity drain. Install it where a glasswasher fits.
Real-world output in a warm kitchen (28–30°C air) drops to roughly 120–130kg/24h. The 40kg bin turns about three times a day at max output — sized for steady, low-peak demand rather than a single crushing rush. If your peak hour needs more than 35kg, step up to a separate-head modular (DCG160A + 100kg bin or larger).
