The SIMAG SPH80 is the compact integral option in this flake ice group: a machine for sites that need proper commercial flake production without moving up to a separate modular head and bin. It suits the kind of service where ice has to be usable, close to hand and easy to work with through the day.
Flaked ice is a different tool from cube ice. It packs around bottles, fish and chilled food, spreads quickly across display beds, and is easier to shape and refresh in counters or service wells. For cafés, bars, seafood presentation and prep areas, that can be far more useful than a bin full of hard cubes.
The SPH80 is verified at 529 × 626 × 880 mm, so it can be planned into a compact commercial footprint. SIMAG specifies a high-grade 441 stainless steel scotch-brite exterior, a food-safe plastic interior, front ventilation and air-cooled operation, with a water-cooled version available by request.
