Why this plate warmer earns its place
The Parry GF408 is the standard plate warmer for any kitchen that needs plates hot and ready. Built from heavy-gauge stainless steel with a silver finish, it sits at counter or under-counter height (1075 mm tall), drawing just 2 kW from a standard plug. The cabinet holds approximately 120 plates across chrome wire shelves that pull out cleanly for loading and unloading.
Thermostat control lets you dial the holding temperature anywhere between ambient and 80°C — warm enough for service without drying food or burning hands. The shelves are removable, so plates sit flat and slide out quickly when you need them. The double-wall construction (not quoted, but implicit in the manufacturer's language) means the exterior stays cool to touch even when the interior runs hot. At 34.5 kg, it's solid enough to stay stable on castors if you add them, light enough to move without needing a second person.
Service is straightforward: unplug, empty, wipe down. The stainless steel body cleans fast and the chrome shelves resist fingerprints. Two-year parts-and-labour warranty covers you if anything goes wrong.
