Why this heated display earns its place
The Lincat Seal UMS50D is a workhorse for front-of-counter hot food displays. It's small enough to fit tight spaces — 783mm tall and 562mm on each side — but it commands attention. The stainless steel frame and toughened glass doors let customers see what they're buying without opening the unit, which matters both for food safety and for impulse sales.
Inside, you get a static rack layout with 420mm width and 446mm depth per shelf, enough for a solid range of products without looking cramped. The switchable heat controls let you dial in temperature for different products through the day, and the daylight-balanced illumination is designed to show food as it really looks rather than casting everything under a sickly glow. It works reliably in ambient conditions up to 32°C and 70% relative humidity — so it'll perform in a busy shop with the door opening and closing all day.
At under 48kg and running off standard 230V, it's straightforward to install on a counter and manage. The toughened glass is fitted with grid protection, and the dual doors give you flexibility in how you load and access stock. Two-year parts and labour warranty covers commercial use.
