Why this hot cupboard earns its place
An upstand heated cupboard sits on the front counter where customers queue or where your service station is most visible. The Combisteel 700 upstand at 1400 mm wide and 850 mm tall holds plated meals, warming plates and service dishes ready for the pass. The back panel shields kitchen staff from customer contact while the front stays open for quick access during service — a standard layout for carveries, buffet counters and hospitality pass-throughs.
Inside, it maintains +30 to +90 °C, the full range from gentle plate warming to regulated hot-holding for food safety. Built in stainless steel with 700 mm depth, it fits standard catering benches without eating into your prep space. Gross weight is 96 kg, so it sits solid on the counter and does not shift under a busy service.
The cabinet draws 2400 W at 230 V and is wired for a standard 13 A socket. This is typical draw for heated holding, but factor electricity cost into your operating plan if you run it continuously during service hours.
