Why this heated display earns its place
The Moffat DHP2 is the workhorse of any quick-service kitchen that runs through plates. Built to sit in your counter, it holds up to 130 plates—the exact number depends on thickness, but that's enough variety for a busy shift. The dispenser accepts plates between 8" and 12" diameter (205–305 mm), covering everything from starter plates to full dinnerware.
The system is simple but clever. Four adjustable guide rods keep plates centred, and a pop-up variable spring system adapts to different plate weights automatically—whether you're loading lighter starter plates or heavier dinner service ware, the spring adjusts on the fly. Once the top plate is lifted, the next one moves up into position under its own spring power, so staff pull, grab, and move in one smooth motion. No fumbling, no delays.
Temperature control is maintained by an internal thermostat, so plates stay hot throughout service. The illuminated on/off switch sits at surface level for easy operation—staff can see the status at a glance without leaning down. Built from stainless steel with impact-resistant ABS covers, it's tough enough for the pace of service and straightforward to clean. The plug-and-cable connection is 13 amp, fitting most standard kitchen outlets.
