Why this plate warmer earns its place
The JC855 gives you warm plates where service actually happens. It is a single-stack mobile heated plate lowerator with capacity for up to 60 plates at 290mm diameter, making it a sensible fit for pubs, smaller banqueting runs, breakfast service, private dining and any kitchen where a cold stack of plates at the wrong moment slows the whole line down.
Because it is mobile, the lowerator can work around the room rather than forcing the room to work around it. Wheel it near the pass, into a service pantry, beside a buffet line or closer to the plating team, then use the two braked castors to hold it securely in place. The supplied polycarbonate lid helps keep the plate stack covered between top-ups.
The build is deliberately straightforward: strong stainless steel on the outside for a cleanable commercial finish, insulation to improve efficiency, and corner bumpers to reduce damage when the unit is moved through tight back-of-house spaces. It is the sort of detail that matters after the first few busy services, not just on the day it arrives.
