Why this heated display earns its place
The C6H/100S is the self-service version of Lincat's Seal 650 curved-front heated display unit: a large, three-tier counter display for hot food that needs to look fresh, visible and easy to buy. The curved front gives the unit a softer, more open presentation than a flat-front cabinet, while the illuminated interior and all-round visibility help the food do the selling from more than one angle.
Inside, the cabinet is designed for busy service rather than simple storage. The manufacturer describes precise thermostatic control with a digital cabinet temperature display, so staff can see what the cabinet is doing at a glance. A humidity feature is built in to help prevent food drying out, keeping displayed products in better condition for longer and reducing avoidable waste.
The display area uses chrome plated rod shelves, chosen for a clean presentation and easy wipe-down at the end of service. Daylight-balanced illumination is there to enhance the look of the food, with clip-in fluorescent light tubes designed for straightforward changes when needed.
