Why this chafing dishe earns its place
The Olympia Rectangular Electric Chafer replaces the old fuel-based model with something genuinely smarter. No naked flame, no constant fuel refill costs, no carbon monoxide risk in enclosed event spaces. Just plug in, fill the water jacket with hot water, and the element maintains a steady holding temperature—85°C, held reliably throughout the service.
The glass panels in the lid let guests see what's being served without lifting—a small detail that keeps buffet presentation clean and food safe. The hydraulic lid opening and closing system is the silent star of this design: staff and guests open and close smoothly without the clatter of a manual hinge. The 8-litre capacity suits a single entrée or vegetable course for a table of eight to ten, or pair several on the buffet for volume. 304 stainless steel body—the marine-grade alloy—means this doesn't stain even through a full season of events.
The rectangular shape fits tightly on standard banqueting tables and doesn't wobble. Power is minimal—just 280W—so event venues don't need to run extra circuits for a bank of chafers. Spare pans are available separately, so you can prep multiple dishes and swap them over mid-service.
