Why this prep station earns its place
This is a table built to earn its keep against a wall, not sit in the middle of a kitchen. It's a welded construction rather than bolt-together — the whole frame and worksurface joined as one piece, which is what gives a prep table this kind of rigidity under real chopping, portioning and plating work rather than the slight flex you get from a knock-down design.
The worksurface is 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, run out to 1800mm, so there's genuine length to lay out ingredients or line up plated dishes without things sliding off the edges of a shorter table. Above it sits a double gantry — extra overhead laydown or hanging space that keeps the worksurface itself clear for actual prep, rather than becoming a dumping ground for boards, tubs and utensils mid-service. Below, an undershelf in the same stainless steel gives you a second tier for stock, trays or bulk ingredients, so the space under the table earns its keep too.
At 900mm tall and 650mm deep, it sits at standard working height and depth for a wall-run prep line. Fully adjustable feet mean it can be levelled properly even on a kitchen floor that isn't perfectly flat — genuinely useful on a stainless worksurface, where an unlevel table shows immediately in anything you're trying to portion evenly. Gross weight is 24.5kg, giving it real presence on the floor without needing to be fixed down.
