Why this wall shelve earns its place
Some jobs just need a shelf, and this is that shelf done properly. The KWC DVS wall unit gives you a 900mm-wide, 300mm-deep stainless steel platform sized to take a commercial microwave — or a stack of pans, a prep tray, whatever needs to be up off the counter and out of the way. It's made from 1.2mm grade 304 stainless steel, so it takes the daily knocks of a working kitchen without denting, and it wipes down the same way the rest of your stainless run does.
Fixing is genuinely thought through rather than an afterthought. Triangular brackets give the shelf a wide, stable footprint on the wall, and it can either be supported from underneath or simply hung from the brackets — useful when the wall or the layout dictates which way you need to go. Two fixing holes give the mounting a solid connection. Fitting instructions and two nuts and bolts are included, though you'll want your own screws and wall plugs to match whatever you're drilling into.
One detail worth knowing before you install: leave a 20mm gap behind the shelf. That's enough clearance to route a microwave's power cable neatly down the wall instead of it hanging loose across the front — a small thing, but it's the difference between a shelf that looks fitted and one that looks bolted on as an afterthought.
