Why this table earns its place
Part of the Bolero Ash range, the GK991 pairs a solid ash wood top with an aluminium frame — a combination that's built specifically for the front of a café or bar rather than the back of a warehouse. The square 600mm top comfortably seats four, and the silver aluminium frame is rust-resistant, so it doesn't spend its life quietly corroding under a beer garden table.
Standing 730mm tall on a 600 x 600mm footprint and weighing around 7kg, this is a table one person can carry, fold and put away without help. Bolero describe it as a space-saving design, and the flip top is exactly that: fold it down and it takes up a fraction of the floor space of a fixed table, which matters when you're stacking tables away at close, or clearing a terrace overnight.
The ash top comes pre-oiled for weather resistance, and Bolero position this table as ideal for pavement cafés — outdoor seating that still needs to survive rain, sun and being dragged in and out daily. It's rated for both indoors and outdoors, so the same table works on a terrace in summer and inside during the colder months. To keep the ash top protected long-term, Bolero recommend re-oiling with their DL476 Teak Oil as part of routine furniture maintenance.
