Why this kitchen canopie earns its place
Big kitchens with a long bank of cooking equipment have traditionally faced a choice: pay for a bespoke ventilation design to cover the whole run, or patch together smaller canopies and live with the gaps. Lincat's Smart Vent range exists to close that gap — a pre-engineered system sized to cover serious cook lines without the design overhead of a one-off ducted install, and the GJ633-CV covers that job at a full 2400mm wide.
That width is the headline figure: 2400mm is enough to sit over a full multi-appliance line — ranges, boiling tops, griddles and fryers run together — with 1200mm of depth to properly capture rising heat and grease-laden air from equipment set back under the canopy, and a 740mm body height that keeps the unit low over the pass rather than dominating the room.
It's built in stainless steel with a silver finish end to end, matching the hygienic, wipe-clean standard the rest of a commercial kitchen is held to. At 117kg gross, this is a genuinely substantial piece of steel that needs to be planned into the ceiling or wall structure properly rather than treated as an afterthought during fit-out.
