Why this kitchen canopie earns its place
A bespoke ventilation canopy usually means a site survey, fabrication drawings and a lead time to match. Lincat built the Smart Vent range to cut that out: a standard-specification canopy engineered to go straight onto a cook line rather than being drawn up from scratch for your kitchen. The GJ632-CV is the largest version in the range covered here, at 2000mm wide, built for a full cook line rather than one or two appliances.
It's stainless steel throughout, finished in silver, so it takes the grease, heat and steam a working kitchen throws at it and cleans back down with a wipe rather than a scrub. The canopy stands 740mm high, 2000mm wide and 1200mm deep — a low profile that keeps headroom loss over the line to a minimum while still giving continuous coverage along its full length.
At 101kg gross, it's the heaviest of the three and firmly a two-person job to get into position — factor that weight into your install plan and make sure the structural fixings above the line are specified to take it before it arrives on site.
