Why this kitchen canopie earns its place
Every hot line generates heat, steam and grease that has to go somewhere, and where it goes if you haven't got extraction sorted is straight into the rest of the kitchen — fogging the room, coating surfaces, and making the job harder than it needs to be. The Parry GT2410IF is built to take that load off the kitchen entirely. It's a stainless steel canopy with a built-in internal fan, pulling gases and fumes, heat and excess hot air up and out rather than letting them settle over the pass.
At 2400mm wide and 1000mm deep, it's sized to sit over a proper run of cooking equipment rather than a single appliance, and Parry rates it as suitable for kit up to 700mm deep underneath — enough to cover a full cookline of ranges, griddles and fryers in one continuous canopy rather than piecing together smaller units. The internal fan is there specifically to create uniform airflow across that whole width, so extraction is even along the run rather than strongest directly under the fan and weak at the edges.
Ducting is built into the design from the top: there's a cut-out sized for 350mm ducting, so it connects straight into a standard extraction run without an installer having to adapt or improvise a fitting. It's finished throughout in stainless steel, which is the only sensible material choice for something that's going to sit directly above a hot, greasy cookline day in, day out — it takes the heat and the grease without corroding or discolouring.
