Product description

The Parry Air In Canopy AITT1575IF is a hugely reliable method of ensuring sufficient replacement air in introduced into the kitchen, whilst still providing impressive extraction.

Manufactured with a full length air in plenum, replacement air is drawn by a supply fan/s, from which air flows in to the kitchen via diffusers in the front face of the canopy. This effective solution provides up to 85% of the volume of extracted air into the kitchen. This model has a generous 2100mm width.

THE WORKING VIEW

Why this kitchen canopie earns its place

The Parry Air In Canopy solves a problem that plagues extraction-only systems: the more air you pull out, the more cold air rushes in to replace it, and your heating costs climb every service. This 2100 mm wide canopy integrates replacement air supply directly into the unit. A supply fan draws fresh air through a full-length plenum (the air chamber running the width of the hood), and diffusers across the front face release it back into the kitchen at the point where you're extracting. The result is that 85% of the volume you extract is replaced with conditioned replacement air—you're not pulling heated kitchen air out and replacing it with cold outdoor air.

At 750 mm high, 2100 mm wide and 1200 mm deep, this canopy covers a substantial cooking line. Manufactured entirely in stainless steel with a silver finish, it's built to withstand constant heat, grease vapour and the daily scrub that keeps extraction equipment clean. The unit comes with a one-year warranty, extendable to two years.

Installation integrates the air-in supply ducting alongside your existing extraction ducting—your kitchen design and M&E engineer will specify exact placement. Once installed and commissioned, the canopy delivers both extraction and air replacement from a single, elegant unit rather than separate hood and fresh-air intake boxes. This is the thinking you need when you're designing a new kitchen or renovating an existing one to improve efficiency and comfort.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions, answered straight

Yes, you'll need a separate supply duct connected to the plenum inlet at the rear of the canopy. A supply fan draws replacement air from outside (or another approved source) through the plenum, and front-facing diffusers release it into the kitchen. This is coordinated at design stage with your building's M&E drawings.

It replaces up to 85% of extracted air—enough to maintain kitchen comfort and air quality without massive heat loss. The remaining 15% is still conditioned by your kitchen's normal heating, which is far more efficient than replacing 100% of extraction with cold outdoor air.

Fan sizing depends on the cooking load, canopy depth, kitchen volume and local Building Regulations. Work with your M&E designer or kitchen equipment supplier (Craven Cooling on 01792 732702) to specify the right fan CFM for your installation.

This is an extraction and air-return canopy. Gas interlock (if required for your cooking equipment) is a separate system. Confirm interlock requirements with your local Building Control or kitchen designer—your gas appliances and ventilation system should be commissioned together.

Stainless steel is cleanable with warm water, detergent and a damp cloth. Grease filters (if fitted) are removable and washable. Schedule professional ducting inspection and cleaning annually or as local Health & Safety standards require. Contact Craven Cooling on 01792 732702 for servicing options.

Covered by a one-year manufacturer warranty, extendable to two years. The stainless-steel construction is built for 15+ years of commercial kitchen use with proper maintenance and cleaning.
