THE WORKING VIEW

Why this extraction canopie earns its place

The Combisteel 900 wall-mounted hood delivers no-fuss extraction for restaurants, pubs, and takeaways working with real space constraints. At 1600 mm wide and 900 mm deep, it covers a useful run of cookers or prep stations without eating into your kitchen footprint. The 450 mm height keeps it fitted tight to the wall or above an existing range, minimising visual clutter and making it easy for staff to work beneath without banging their heads.

This is a complete hood: stainless steel casing, ducting ready to run, assembled and pressure-tested from the factory. You're not scavenging parts or troubleshooting dodgy joints during install. At 50 kg net weight, it's substantial enough to feel engineered, light enough that a two-person fit crew can handle it without gearlifts. The stainless steel construction shrugs off the grease, steam, and heat that extraction systems live in—no rust, no degradation, year after year.

Kitchen extraction is unglamorous work: suck out the heat and smell before it spreads, keep your diners comfortable, and make life bearable for your cook. This hood does exactly that. Mounting hardware is included; ducting spec depends on your layout, so talk to our team if you're unsure what you need.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions, answered straight

The hood itself and mounting hardware are included. Ducting depends on your kitchen's layout—how high above the cooker you're mounting it, where your roof penetration or external wall is, whether you're running rigid or flexible duct. Talk to us: we can advise, or forward your kitchen drawings to 01792 732702 and we'll spec what you need.

Extraction volumes vary by ducting configuration and how you run your fan. The Combisteel design works well with centrifugal or axial fans sized to your ductwork. If you're replacing an existing hood or fitting into a specific space, email us a photo or sketch and we'll recommend the right fan size.

Yes, this hood works over gas equipment. Gas interlocks vary by local building control—some areas require one, others don't. We recommend you confirm with your local authority or a qualified engineer before you spec the final system. Our team on 01792 732702 can point you to a gas installer if you need one.

Stainless steel cleans quickly with soapy water and a cloth. The hood interior will accumulate grease over time—typical for any kitchen extraction system. Regular wiping and occasional deep cleans keep it hygienic. If you fit a washable filter inside the hood, it's designed to pop in and out for cleaning.

The 450 mm depth means you can mount it horizontal against the wall, which is the standard setup. A slight slope forward (just a degree or two) helps condensation drain forward rather than pooling, but it's not critical if your space doesn't allow it. Level mounting works fine in most kitchens.
