Why this contact grill earns its place
The HOST ribbed double contact grill is engineered for consistency at speed. Two heavy cast-iron ribbed plates, one top and one bottom, close on your product with independent temperature control and digital timers for each side. That means you can char a panini on the bottom whilst gently warming bread on the top—or match temperatures for uniform cooking across larger batches. Cast iron retains heat aggressively, so recovery time between items is minimal; the grill bounces back fast even during continuous service.
The 430 stainless-steel body weighs 27 kg and anchors to any prep counter. Cooking surface is 550 mm × 395 mm, enough for multiple items per batch or one large portion that needs deliberate branding. Ribbed plates do three things simultaneously: they channel grease and fat away from your food (promoting both cleaner eating and cleaner equipment), they apply consistent branding lines that customers recognise, and they distribute heat more evenly than flat plates. Temperature range is 100–300°C, giving you everything from gentle warming to hard sear.
Setup is straightforward: 230V supply, plug connection. The grill reaches temperature fast and holds it steadily. A removable drip tray sits underneath, catching rendered fat and oils for easy disposal and sanitation. This is a workhorse design—no frills, just reliable dual-sided cooking that produces results you can serve confidently every day.
