Why this contact grill earns its place
The Buffalo Double Contact Grill CU612 is a heavy-duty countertop grill with a 200 x 570 x 310 mm footprint and a gross weight of 25.4 kg. It runs on 220-240V plug power with a 3600 W input, and its temperature range runs from 50 to 300 °C.
Its grilling plates are enamelled cast iron, with a flat base and a ribbed top plate. Buffalo says the counter-balanced design maximises contact between heat and food, which helps produce a consistent cook and speeds up service when the queue is moving.
Independent temperature controls and programmable digital timers are fitted to each side, so you can run different foods at the same time and keep results consistent. Buffalo also says one side can be shut off to reduce running costs, and that the grill is easy to use, clean and maintain.
