Why this shaft earns its place
This is the heart of the HEA505 heavy-duty stick blender: the shaft drives the blending head and pushes the mix through the stator. At 530 mm, it reaches the full depth of a 100-litre stockpot and keeps the blade submerged even when you're working with thick or settled batches.
Stainless steel construction resists thermal stress and corrosion from acidic soups, stocks, and purées. The 100-litre working capacity matters if you run batch production: a single fill-and-blend cycle is enough for a full service's worth of béchamel or velouté. A worn or damaged shaft will lose efficiency and cavitate, leaving lumps unsolved and service pace dragging.
Replacement is straightforward—the shaft slides into the motor housing and locks with a simple collar. No special tools or alignment required beyond checking that the blade head is clear of the pot rim.
