Why this countertop chargrill earns its place
The E9490 is built for kitchens that cannot or will not use a traditional gas chargrill, but still want the look and feel that comes from cooking directly on the elements. It is a countertop unit in Falcon's F900 Series, finished in stainless steel and sized at 350 x 900 x 900 mm.
Its 2 x 6.7kW elements heat up quickly, so the cooking temperature is reached faster than on gas models. The elements are independently controlled, which means you can run only half the cooking area, and only half the energy, during quieter service periods.
The cooking area measures 730 x 590 mm and is designed to hold an even, consistent temperature across the whole surface. Magnetic side screens help stop spatter reaching adjacent equipment and can be removed and washed in a standard sink.
