Why this gas range earns its place
The Falcon F900 solid top oven range is built on cast iron, a material that holds and distributes heat in ways stainless steel can't replicate. The single bullseye design concentrates heat at the centre, reaching 450 °C where you need maximum power, then graduates outwards for controlled cooking across the whole plate. The bullseye is removable—if you need direct flame under a pan instead of radiant heat, take it out and drop the 10.3 kW burner straight to your cookware.
This design philosophy puts the tool at your service. Cast iron doesn't flatten into a single temperature zone like stainless—it creates heat zones you can use strategically. Move a pan from the hot centre outward to a cooler ring for searing, sautéing, or holding dishes warm. Food responds differently on cast iron: better browning, sharper temperature control, the kind of responsiveness that defines good cooking.
The oven cavity below holds a 2/1 gastronorm double tray, running from 80 to 280 °C with five shelf positions and two shelves included. One-touch piezo ignition means no fumbling with lighter sticks—just press and flame. The door has a metal-to-metal seal keeping oven heat inside where it belongs. At 155 kg and 900 × 800 × 900 mm, this is a serious piece of kitchen equipment. It sits on adjustable feet so you can level it on any floor, and it runs on mains natural gas for reliable, consistent supply.
