Why this induction hob earns its place
The Lincat Silverlink 600 dual-zone induction hob is built for kitchens that need more than one pan on heat at once but don't have the space for a full cooking line. At 600 mm wide and 290 mm tall, it's roughly the size of a compact workspace, but pulls 6 kW of induction power split across two zones. That means you can simmer a stock and finish a sauce simultaneously, each at its own precise temperature, without crosstalk or compromise.
Induction technology means instant response to heat changes and genuine energy efficiency — you're heating pans, not the air around them, which keeps your prep area cooler and your bills lower than traditional hotplates. At +0 to +190 °C on each zone, it handles sauces, reheats, gravies, and most finishing work. The speed matters: covers that need a final glaze can get it without waiting for a pan to come to temperature.
Plugs into standard 230V — no gas, no 3-phase complications. Stainless-steel casing cleans quickly and fits neatly into a prep counter, under a shelf, or beside your main line. At 26.9 kg it's solid enough not to shift during service.
