Why this chip scuttle earns its place
The Buffalo 600 Series chip scuttle is built for service points that need fried food held warm and ready without turning the counter into a mess. Its overhead heat keeps chips or wedges warm and appetising, while the perforated base plate helps prevent them sitting in grease or fat.
The gently sloping base makes it easier to reach into the servery with an appropriate scoop, and the raised sides help keep food where it should be. That makes the unit easier to work around in a busy kitchen or front-of-house pass.
Made from strong stainless steel, the chip scuttle is designed to take regular commercial use and clean down easily afterwards. It runs on 230V single phase with a 1000 W input, and its 240 x 400 x 600 mm footprint keeps it compact enough for a counter installation.
