THE WORKING VIEW

Why this bratt pan earns its place

The Phoenix electric bratt pan delivers the same 81-litre capacity and tilting convenience as its gas counterpart, but powered by three-phase electricity instead. Three-phase supply gives you consistent, responsive heating — the same control and repeatability you'd get from a gas model, but without the flue or gas-line requirements. It's the choice for kitchens that either can't run gas or prefer the simplicity of electric.

Stainless steel throughout means it stands up to the daily rigour of commercial catering — intensive use, aggressive cleaning, and years of service without losing its finish. The tilting mechanism is identical to the gas version: you tilt and pour directly into a serving vessel rather than lifting the heavy pan by hand. That's both safer and faster when you're running a busy kitchen.

Unlike the gas model, there's no flue or extraction requirement for the heating elements, which can simplify installation in some kitchens. The 154 kg weight reflects the heating elements needed for reliable electric performance. At 970 mm wide and 800 mm deep, it fits a standard kitchen layout. Three-phase electric is standard in commercial kitchens, so connection is usually straightforward — but confirm your electrical infrastructure before ordering.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions, answered straight

Both have 81 litres capacity and tilt for pouring. The electric runs on three-phase power (380-415V) instead of natural gas, so no flue is needed. Otherwise they're the same machine doing the same job.

No — this unit requires three-phase supply. If your kitchen only has single-phase, you'd need either a three-phase upgrade or the gas model instead. Ask your electrician to check before you order.

Three-phase is heavy-duty commercial electrical supply with three separate power lines — standard in most professional kitchens but not universal. Confirm your supply is 380-415V before ordering. Call 01792 732702 if you need electrical advice.

Electric elements respond instantly, so you get heat as soon as you switch on. Heat-up time depends on how full the pan is, but it's consistent and predictable, pan after pan.

Yes — both Phoenix electric and gas models tilt to pour. You're choosing the fuel source that fits your kitchen's infrastructure, not compromising on design.

Yes — different parts and different safety checks apply. Our servicing team on 01792 732702 can advise on maintenance schedules, spares, and electrical safety for this model.
