Why this bains marie earns its place
The BM4C is the single-pan version of the Silverlink bain marie—built for operations where you need one main sauce or gravy held hot without using up a full metre of counter width. At 450 mm wide and 290 mm high, it tucks into tight spaces: corner pass stations, garnish benches, or small front-of-house kitchens where every inch counts.
Like its larger sibling, it's designed to hold sauces, gravies and pre-cooked foods at serving temperature for up to two hours. The front-mounted top includes a drain for quick emptying and changeovers, which is essential when you're switching between sauces mid-service. One 1/1 gastronorm pan—your own—sits in the well and heats from below. Stainless steel construction throughout means it wipes clean and takes the pace of a busy kitchen.
At 13.5 kg and powered by a standard 230V plug, it's solid but genuinely moveable. There's no gas, no complex installation—just position, fill, plug in and heat. It's the holding bain marie for kitchens that need temperature control but not high capacity.
