Why this hot cupboard earns its place
The Lincat Panther P8B4PT is built for high-volume kitchens where food quality doesn't drift through service. A bain marie holds food at a steady, precise temperature—anywhere from 31°C up to 110°C—so your prep doesn't dry out, flavour stays locked in, and service speed never means compromise. The double-skinned construction is the detail that makes this work: inner and outer walls trap heat efficiently, so temperature stays constant, and the exterior stays cool enough to touch safely even under full load.
GN 1/1 pans slide in and out without fuss. The upturned rim makes removal easy, and if you need to swap or refresh a batch mid-service, removable shelves (two chrome shelves are included) and easily detachable doors mean you're not wrestling the unit down. The 1530 mm width fits most counter layouts and gives you solid capacity without eating the whole line.
Bains maries work in two modes—dry heat or wet heat—so you can choose what suits your menu. Dry holds delicate items or finished plating. Wet heat (using water in the outer jacket) spreads warmth more gently and is gentler on sauces and proteins. Both modes run off a single 230V connection drawing 4.9kW, so most kitchens plug straight in without rewiring.
