Why this medical freezer earns its place
The LWMP523 is the frozen-storage counterpart to Williams' Medi+ HWMP523 fridge — same cabinet, same build, but engineered to hold a hard frozen band for stock that has to stay well below zero rather than chilled. It holds 523 litres.
It maintains -18°C to -22°C on R290, the natural, low-GWP refrigerant, drawing 384W on a 230V supply — noticeably more power than the fridge version, reflecting the harder cooling job. Under-mounted refrigeration keeps the compressor clear of the storage compartment, and the cabinet is engineered to operate efficiently up to a 43°C ambient.
Build is fully stainless steel, exterior and interior, with a full-length integral grab handle and precision-injected high-density polyurethane insulation with low GWP potential. Anti-tilt trayslides sit on a removable racking system with white nylon-coated wire shelves, the cabinet moves on heavy-duty non-marking castors with brakes, and magnetic balloon door gaskets give a 100% tight seal, with LED interior lighting.
