Why this undercounter medical fridge earns its place
The BLIZZARD MED140 is a single hinged-door under-counter pharmacy refrigerator, built for storing medicines and other temperature-critical stock where holding — and proving — a controlled range matters. At 598 x 648 x 819 mm (W×D×H), with height adjustable up to 850 mm, it fits under a standard worktop and holds 145 litres gross across three adjustable shelves, running at +2 to +8°C.
Temperature control goes beyond a standard fridge: it carries a secondary alarm thermometer accurate to +/-0.5°C, audible and visual HI/LO alarms, and MAX/MIN temperature monitoring, with battery-powered monitoring that keeps recording through a power failure. Cooling is fan-assisted and defrost automatic, run through a digital controller with a temperature display. Annual consumption runs to a low 135 kWh, and it operates at 53 dB. Climate Class 4 rates it for a normal working environment.
Build is a white laminated exterior with an ABS interior, and the door is reversible to suit either side of an installation. A lock is fitted as standard, and the unit is stackable with a stacking kit where more than one is needed. It runs on R600a, a low-GWP hydrocarbon refrigerant. Gross weight is a light 38 kg.
