Why this meat fridge earns its place
The CB941 is a three-door counter meat fridge from Foster's EcoPro G3 range, sitting beneath a working counter top. It gives a fresh-meat section its own chilled storage — 435 litres — at bench height rather than sending staff back to the walk-in. The cabinet maintains –2 to +2°C, which is the meat temperature band, colder than standard chilled storage.
As a dedicated meat fridge it keeps raw product in its own space, which helps organise prep and hold the cold chain across three sections of under-counter storage. Three shelves and full GN 1/1 pan compatibility let you arrange product or portion sizes to your line. The refrigerant is R290 (eco-friendly, ultra-low GWP), so it runs as a sustainable choice as well as a functional one.
Built as a counter unit, it sits in the run as a refrigerated bench, so the top doubles as prep space. At 1.8 metres wide it is a substantial installation — plan for floor loading (212 kg) and a clear delivery route. Keep the front clear for loading, and leave 10cm clearance at the rear for air circulation.
